So you got a Hole in One - whats the claiming procedure?

From the instructions of the representatives of Golf Sure insurance (details of which you can click on above), the procedure to follow for when a player gets a hole in one is as follows:

1.  The card needs to be verified by the mens/ladies committee as valid.
2.  The card then needs to be signed and verified by the General Manager.
3.  Then copy the card and send the original card to the following person who processes all of these cards:

      Dave Smith of Thornton & Partners.
      Thorntons and Partners
      Ground Floor, Block 5
      Monreal Leisure Centre
      Monreal Avenue
      Naas
      Co. Kildare

      Direct Line:   045 837520

From then, the process can take up to 3 weeks as Thorntons and Partners need to communcate with each club's relevant insurance broker for verification. 

After that, a cheque for €250 will be issued to the revelent player.
